Creative Strategist and Visual Communications

The imagination and creativity of designers touches almost every object in our lives—from the poster in the street to the software on our phones.

As a Visual Communication Designer, I work to create concepts and translate them in to visual form-by hand and then through computer software—to communicate and create products that engage, inform, educate, entertain and inspire people. I create layouts or electronic displays and coordinate production and implementation of my designs.

I am passionate with my work, whether that’s illustration, branding, graphic design, visual design, art direction, typography and storyboarding, interactive design, UI (user interface) and UX (user experience), editorial design, publishing, digital media, and more.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for creating online and offline assets that effectively support the brand, as well as effectively executing UX design recommendations to improve consumer experiences and optimization.​

  • Create, design and maintained all online creative assets across all media from digital, print, and video, including: email templates, social marketing, illustrations, promotional online content​, landing pages, and presentations decks.

  • Responsible for the transference of a brand’s strengths and visual assets to a product’s interface as to best enhance the user’s experience.

  • Managed and maintain brand guidelines including corporate identity, art and photography guidelines. Designed within brand guidelines to ensure designs are brand compliant, ensuring quality control and brand standards across all creative and design and conforming to the overall brand identity and strategy.

  • Collaborated with internal stakeholders and marketing team to drive key revenue metrics through targeting and creative optimization including email and social campaigns.

  • Prioritized and managed multiple project deadlines as required within design specifications and budgets across multiple time periods.

  • Ability to accurately translate business requirements into effective marketing oriented design concepts and materials; Experience with Web communications, architecture, design and content best practices and strategies.

  • Thorough understanding of marketing principles and tactics, IMC plan, sales promotional techniques, Branding, web-based technology, Advertising, Digital Marketing, Email Marketing, Search Engine Marketing and Corporate Strategies.

  • Developing advertising concepts and creating advertising materials consistent with specific strategic goals and budgets with effective and attention grabbing visuals and advertising.

  • Create and optimize content for web site using a variety of graphics, database and animation; develop web site architecture and determine hardware and software requirements, and consulting with clients to develop and document web and graphic requirements.
